Known for her short films on art and fashion photography, Patricia Canino has done a special photographic work on the drifting icebergs of Greenland.

If, from the cinema, she has kept the sense of staging, light work has become the heart of her shooting. With icebergs, images themselves become matter of transformation and light metamorphosis.
Slivers of solarized negative light vibrate, the depth of black unfolds in all its power, the white of the ice becomes mineral, the surface of the water takes on metallic reflections. The calm is there, but everything points to a past or future catastrophe.
